Before you gripe about your spouse or wife – Think of somebody who’s shouting out to GOD for a partner.

  1. We should show gratitude for the little things we have. Reminds me of this prayer we take before meal"some have food but cannot eat, some can eat but have no food, we have food and we can eat, Glory be to thee O'Lord Amen"

    Thanks

  2. I struggle with this too. But to be able to preserve and be happy with what you have is the sign of maturity. Uplifting and inspirational!

  3. it's a really lovely post. people nowadays forget to consider others since they are busy contemplating what's missing in their lives, when other people don't have even half of it

  4. Well said! Lately, I've been feeling down and negative about the things happening in my life. Even though I have valid reasons to be upset, I have to try to think positively. I need to thank GOD for all he has blessed me with.

  5. That's such a lovely message! I think it's important to count your blessings too, it keeps you away from the discouraging thoughts that you might have. I think it's good to be aware of what others are going through, not to compare but to help you see how truly blessed you are.

  6. Honestly, I don't think that anyone is thinking at others when sometimes goes wrong in their life. And it's not because we are not compassionate, but because we are only relating to our own lives and what is happening in our bubble. And it's normal, this is how we have been designed.

  7. These are important things to think about in this day and age. It's easy to forget about the things that you have that others may never have access to.

  8. Inspirational post! A very good reminder for everyone. Thanks for sharing. It's important to see what you have. And be grateful. But also to look around. And help others!

  9. Lovely post to read, even from an atheist point of view! It's good to step back and think how lucky you are sometimes and think of everything in perspective, even if you don't believe in God, just as a human it's important 🙂

  10. I adore this! Thinking before you speak. I so believe we shape our world with the things we say. If we all just took a little more time out before reacting and speaking life could be painted differently.

  12. This is a great post. I think people need to be more greatful for the things they have and I'm not talking material. Health, Family, Friends, Food, Water, Shelter. Some people don't have some or all of these…never mind the latest iPhone.

  13. I really agree with this! There's someone who once told me that if ever you are suffering… always be mindful that you should not complain because there is someone who is suffering ten times more painful than yours…we should always feel grateful no matter how hard our life may seem .. in fact the moment you wake up in the morning is already a blessing from heaven and something you should be thankful because God gave us another day to embrace his Glory.. what a lovely post ♥

  14. Just like my Mom says, "Before saying anything (especially when you are upset) think about it first… if you are not sure, think again for 10x. And be calm." Then you can think of a better words to say without affecting negatively others.
